One of Narooma’s largest industries is oyster farming. Narooma is the home of some of the most highly regarded rock oysters in Australia thanks to the unique geographical location of the Wagonga Inlet waterway. The Wagonga Inlet is tidal and forms part of the Batemans Marine Park. The pristine water with rare sea grasses gives the Narooma oysters a particular merroir unlike other river estuaries.

Dinner at the Quarterdeck Restaurant

A trip to Narooma would not be complete without eating at the Quarterdeck Restaurant. This tiki style bar and restaurant has to have the best view of any restaurant venue in Narooma especially at sunset.
